Large lifting equipment is the backbone of industrial production,and port Gantry crane is one of the typical dangerous equipments with the highest probability of accident.In many ports in China,Gantry cranes have suffered from structural damage that caused the Gantry cranes to collapse suddenly.Therefore,the research content of this paper has important practical significance.This paper taken the port Gantry crane MQ2533 as an example to design and implement safety monitoring pre-warning system for port Gantry crane.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the research background,significance and research status at home and abroad,through data query and field investigation,unsafe factors of the main structural parts of the Gantry crane were analyzed,and obvious breakdowns that might occur in the Gantry crane were obtained,laying the foundation for the design of overall plan.(2)Overall plan design of safety monitoring pre-warning system for port Gantry crane.The hardware architecture systems were designed,including acquisition and control systems,processing and storage systems,Wireless communication system and display systems.The software security monitoring platform that can set various alarms for measurement data and alarm thresholds was designed.The monitoring status was displayed in a visual interface and the real-time monitoring and historical data storage of each structure during operation of the gantry crane were achieved.The system acquired information on the structure stress,displacement,and wind speed and wind direction of the Gantry crane.The monitoring data was transmitted to a remote server through 4G wireless network.Users can access the server through the Internet to obtain the monitored information.Taking into account the complex operating environment and random errors caused by accidental interference in the data acquisition process,this system analyzed and added filtering algorithms to ensure correct pre-warning and reduce unnecessary inspections for maintenance personnel,thereby improving the overall measurement accuracy and reliability of the system.(3)Technical study for sensor layout and pre-warning.The Gantry crane MQ2533 model was built by finite element ANSYS software to obtain the calculation results of the Gantry crane under different working conditions,and the components with strong stress and displacement and corresponding positions were analyzed and calculated.According to the analysis and calculation results,the layout scheme of stress and displacement sensors were proposed,the specific location of wind speed and direction sensors through analysis and calculation were obtained,and the thresholds of stress,displacement,and wind speed were studied and set separately.(4)Safety monitoring pre-warning system implementation for port Gantry crane.Edited a multi-functional,easy-to-operate security monitoring platform system,the measured values were displayed in the form of curves,lists,and values,enabling the staff to monitor the stress and displacement of each structure of the Gantry crane and the wind speed and direction during the operation in a clear and real-time manner.The system also can be queried,statistics and storage of historical data.Finally,the system was installed and applied on the site,the entire system was tested and the data collected by the system was analyzed and the optimization measures that can be taken were proposed.
