This paper takes several aspects of problems of the 10-ton double-girder gantry crane tires (hereinafter referred to as:10-ton gantry crane) such as Structural stability,Synchronization of hoisting mechanism and Walking mechanism and coordination of multi-wheel independent steering control, which effect the performance of the 10-ton gantry crane,as the study. Analysis and calculation them in great depth. So this paper has a very strong practical background and practical significance.Consulted numerous related literatures and reference materials at home and abroad, main mechanical structure and electrical control system are designed, relative components are chosen or manufactured, and then experiment study of the system have been done.At first, structural design, power calculation of main mechanical structure of 10-ton gantry crane are done, including running the system structure, steering system structure, drive system and the crane hoisting system structure. At the same time, a detailed mechanical structure of rational analysis and calculation of the gantry lifting system are done around the hoisting mechanism of synchronization, safety and technical issues. And finally a series of structural design parameters and the main technical requirements of control system meeting the use requirements are calculated.Secondly, for the other core issues of this topic-walking mechanism and coordination of multi-wheel independent steering control problem, this paper established the mathematical model of a 10-ton gantry crane auto-correction system, mainly formed by the mathematical model of three-phase AC induction motor, electric mathematical model and the hydraulic pusher position feedback devices composed of mathematical models, and Analysis was carried out.This paper has been discussed 10-ton gantry crane hoist positioning system and automatic correction system of control strategies based on the mathematical model. And finally select a rule which is simple, reliable, easy to implement features such as PID controller as the system controller. In order to achieve the best result of PID controller, this paper further studies based on the PID parameters self-tuning PID controller design techniques.At the last part of the thesis, based on all of the above work, by means of simulation systems for control of the main technical requirements, preliminary design of the controller hardware and software. And finally accomplish the controller designthrough the on-site commissioning and testing.
