| In recent years, tourism has developed rapidly in our country; travel in holiday has become an indispensable part in people’s daily life. As one important part of the scenic area infrastructure services, signage and wayfinding system plays an indispensable role in improving tourists’ experience and the quality of scenic spots service, so the research on signage and wayfinding system in scenic spot has important practical significance. At present, the research on signage wayfinding system is more focused on the factors of design and system planning, and the evaluation on guide sign system is less, which is mostly from the perspective of the human engineering science and the environment science, but not the tourists’most fundamental wayfinding needs. In addition, national and local government about scenic spot guidance marking system defined in the current evaluation standards, the actual operability is poor. Therefore, on the basis of the tourists wayfinding behavior, this paper studied on the problem of the current scenic signage and wayfinding system evaluation to build a reasonable quantitative evaluation index system.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the theories of the signage and wayfinding system, the tourists wayfinding behaviors and the tour routes were analyzed and summarized. The definition, classification and setting principle of signage and wayfinding system were analyzed, as well as expounded the wayfinding origin, definition and its influencing factors, the relationship between the signage settings and wayfinding behavior. The discussion about the definition, spatial patterns and factors on space choice of tourist routes, and the analysis on relationship between tourist routes and wayfinding behaviors lay down a theoretical foundation for the following modeling and wayfinding experiment.Secondly, the tourists wayfinding behavior features were summarized by q uestionnaire. Based on the wayfinding process, abstracted the tourists and guiding si gns, constructed cognition databases of tourists to guiding signs, and move beha vior rule bases based on the interaction between tourists and guiding signs. An d then, tourist wayfinding behavior model was constructed, according to the rel ationship between wayfinding behavior and guiding signs, and the model was t he core of evaluation to guiding signs, which was divided into three sections, i ncluding information perception, route planning and move behavior.Thirdly, analyzed the influencing factors of the tourist route planning, and the algorithm of route planning was built to generate several routes randomly. On this base, realized the Tourists comprehensive wayfinding algorithm based o n planning routes from two aspects of tour demand and non-tour demand. In a ddition, according to the relationship between wayfinding behavior and guiding signs, in order to improve tourist spatial cognition and wayfinding efficiency, guiding signs evaluation index system was built from three levels of point, line and surface based on tourist wayfinding behaviors.At last, take Ming Tomb for an example, this paper has evaluated its guide sign system, and put forward the optimization of reasonable suggestions. The results showed that this evaluating method is helpful, the evaluation index system can evaluate the existing signage and wayfinding system, and proposed some optimization suggestions on spatial layout, content and so on, which improved the experience of tourists. |
