For a long time, railway engineering structures mainly uses allowable stress design method in our country. With the development of railway construction, embankment slope allowable stress design method can no longer meet the demand of current and internationalization design. It is more useful to evaluate the slope stability by combining the deterministic method and reliability method, the failure probability(reliability index) method and safety coefficient. The paper has done a lot of research work on railway subgrade slope design specification according to the formulated reliability theory.The article first establishs the limit state equation of reliability analysis of railway subgrade slope based on the Sweden Swedish method. Secondly, “the JC law” is used to calculate the reliability index and analyze each influence factor. Finally the calculation, calibration and the reference value of subentry coefficient is given.(1)Firstly, the variables in the limit state equation of railway subgrade slope are summed up by a comprehensive analysis of existing literatures at home and abroad and the limit state equation is established by using theory of Sweden slice method.(2)JC method is used to calculate the slope of the reliability index and program the Matlab slope reliability index calculation program. The value of super heavy, heavy, heavy, medium and light stability of slope reliability index are calculated and counted.(3)The side slope reliability calculation procedures is used to analyze the sensitivity of the impact factor of variability factor for reliable indicators. Research has shown that the train load, rock and heavy gamma value, as well as the shear strength Indicators c, should value of sensitive factor, rock and Shear Strength Indicators c, should be the variability of the slope reliability indicators have a significant impact.(4)The general parting method is used to calculate the side slope sub-item coefficient. The method has carried on the calibration to the computed result and indicated the reasonable of the sub-item coefficient.
