| The escalator is one of the transport tools,this transport tool is common used for human. It brings great convenience to people’s life. The escalator has become an important symbol of modern civilization. In some way, the escalator changes people’s life with the development of industrial automation and micro controller. Micro controller has been more and more widely used in escalator field. When the microprocessor and power electronic device used in the escalator, the escalator becomes intelligent. The escalator control cabinet becomes more and more small. The function of the escalator has been increased.The main work of this paper is to develop a new generation of electric control system of escalator. We detailed analysis and research on the escalator control system both at domestic and abroad, also combined with the engineering practice of escalator to realize the upgrading and transformation of electric control system. The escalator control system in this paper consists of two parts, the drive control circuit part and the logic control circuit part. Based on the traditional escalator, the drive control circuit part has been added two functions. One kind function is three phase integration. Another is frequency switching. The frequency switching can be conducted at any time. This function contributes the ride comfort. The logic control system were improved greatly. This system Increases the load detection function and automatic energy saving function. As for the load detection function, according to the load weight of the escalator, this paper has implemented real-time driving motor star delta switch. As for the automatic energy saving function, through the infrared sensor, the escalator can monitor the flow of people. The escalator running with a lower speed when no one on it otherwise running with full speed. Based on micro controller, the new system design has already begun preliminary application in engineering practice. It provides a new control scheme. |
