With the development of the economy and society, ecology and environment has been paid more and more attention. During the vigorous developing process of city forest tourism, forest parks are getting more popular among the public because of it unique natural ecological value and recreation value of landscape. Especially the forest parks nearby the city, which are rewarded as "Green Lung" and "Backyard Garden", are becoming the developing tendency of tourism management and planning. Therefore, benefit evaluation in forest parks is very necessary.Project Benefit Evaluation is the basis of the value assessment on the project and the fundamental to guide project owners in regards with the investment and development. And it is also the key and the core of the project investment forecast. It generally includes economic benefit, social benefit and ecological benefit. The purpose of forest park benefit evaluation research is to correctly understand forest park’s tourism economic value, social value and ecological value, so as to further help the project managers, investors and tourists enhance their knowledge on the forest park’s overall benefits and value, and meanwhile provide reference on benefit evaluation for similar projects’ development and construction.This paper sets QingXiuShan Forest Botanical Garden as the study object, combines the characteristics of forest tourism and forest park, utilizes the related theory of benefit evaluation in project management, adopts the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis etc., and comprehensively analyses the economic benefit, social benefit and ecological benefit of QingXiuShan Forest Botanical Garden from the angle of project development and construction. It aims at building a systematic benefit evaluation index system based on analysis and research, and providing a effective reference on comprehensive evaluation for similar forest parks.
