In the modern field of mechanical engineering, Planetary gear transmission with small tooth number difference as an advanced transmission technology, Due to its many advantages in terms of efficiency, size, quality, transmission ratio, carrying capacity, etc. it is widely used in petroleum, chemical, mining, construction machinery and other industries. With the continuous development of manufacturing technology, higher transmission accuracy is required. Based on the model of equivalent mass-spring, this paper researched the transmission error simulation of the Planetary Gear with Small Tooth Number Difference and found the key factors that affect the entire deceleration mechanism of transmission errors, which are significant for the key parts of entire deceleration mechanism to allocate its manufacturing and assembly errors reasonably.The main contents of this paper include:(1) Considering of machining errors and installation errors of eccentric shaft, planetary gear, internal gear, carrier, load, time- varying mesh stiffness and other factors, we use the method of equivalent mass-spring model to derive the force direction around "equivalent error ", and to form the force and moment equilibrium equations, so as to establish t he mathematical transmission error model of planetary gear drive with small tooth number difference.(2) The method of solving the stiffness reduction mechanism has been discussed. The nonlinear dynamical equilibrium equation has been solved by using numerical methods and compiling MATLAB programs.(3) Adopting different error parameters which are substituted the equilibrium equation for simulation. Error factors of the parts affecting the whole deceleration mechanism of transmission errors have been analyzed, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the rational al ocation of precision parts.(4) Complete with the visualization operation contact surface design to the calculation of small teeth difference reducer transmission error, the contact surface makes the calculation of small teeth difference reducer transmission error and the analysis of result much simply and vividly.Through this study, the key factors that influencing the spigot type involute few teeth difference transmission error have been identified. Some theoretical basis such as how to allocate parts accuracy reasonably, how to reduce production costs as well as improving the transmission accuracy of planetary gear with small tooth number difference have been provided.
