With the increasing development of Chinese economic level and living standards, our residents’ car-purchasing power is rising quickly. Facing the rapid growth of auto buying-demand, the issue of being lack of parking lots in domestic will become increasingly prominent. At present, the international proportion of car demand number and parking lots number is 1:1.4, however, in the view of the development of our city parking-building, the proportion is seriously unbalanced. Meanwhile, starting from China’s national conditions, per capita possession of land resources is very low and the number of parking lots is a serious shortage. Through learning from foreign advanced technology to build parking garage projects which is in line with China’s national conditions, it will relief the phenomenon of difficult-parking and parking-in-wrong-place effectively.To further enhance the research, design and innovation of parking garage, database technology, parametric technology and modular design is adopted in this thesis to finish AutoCAD2008 secondary development platform based on VB6.0 programming environment and the three-dimensional garage modular design concept is introduced to reduce the stereo garage design tasks and the construction costs of the parking garage.Through analyzing the specific structural requirements of three-dimensional garage, parking garage is regarded as a modular design including five modules out of trolley plate unit module, overall framework module, transmission structure module, storage access module and safety devices. VB6.0 is used to finish AutoCAD2008 secondary development, mainly in the trolley board unit. The entrance guard in-out garage parameters is taken as an example to be detailed designed. Firstly, the trolley board unit and a storage access control and other parameters are detailed designed to analysis the trolley plate bolt connections seeks, shear diagram, bending moment diagrams, car plate between by-cells, and outputting of the corresponding 2D drawings. Secondly, according to the parameters of the design ideas, car carrier board unit is designed as the three-dimensional solid graphics storage access, and by modifying the corresponding parameter value, the access can automatically generate graphical user needs. Finally, ANSYS software is used to set unit static strength and fatigue strength on board. The results show that the trolley panel unit designed is able to meet the strength requirements.During the research and application of three-dimensional garage structure based on AutoCAD secondary development, VB6.0 programming language is used for graphics development. The garage graphic can be drawn automatically with the modifying of corresponding parameter values to satisfy different user demands. The three-dimensional stereo garage with unit module parametric design based on AutoCAD secondary development will help reduce the workload of the designer to improve the automation level parking garage modular design.
