Research Of Old Residential Optimization Design Based On The Elderly Living Present Situation Analysis Of Suzhou

The speeding development of aging population of Suzhou brings lots of problems of the elderly living space currently. As a famous historical and cultural city, the old city area of Suzhou has a large number of ancient architecture.With the development of modernization, many old houses have changed the original appearance and have new faces.In this paper, through the sampling investigation and visited the old people who are living in the ancient dwellings,which in Daru xiang, Xiao Jia Xiang, Niujia Xiang and Jianxin Xiang of District Pingjiang Street in ancient Suzhou city area,We have analyzed of the current situation of elderly living space were influenced by these factors:the personal factors such as psychological problems,physiological problems,and other external factors such as social problems and architecture problems.From sociology behavioral science perspective, we summed up the characteristics and residential mode of the elderly living in the old houses.And analysis the morphological changes of the houses in the ancient city area of Suzhou.The old residential space changes year by year, and its effect on the modern development of the elderly living space is mainly: the narrow space, loss of function, mismatch the accessibility requirements and public safety requirements and neglect of emotion.According to the requirements,we proposed to conforms to the Suzhou regional culture characteristics and personal aesthetic principles in optimizing design,at the same time take people as the foremost and suit one’s measures to local conditions and needs. According to the principle of optimization,we proposed some measures for optimizing the elderly living space in the old residential such as changing the function pattern, optimizing the traffic space,increasing storage space.And we come up plans of optimum design method of important space optimization and improve the elderly`s sensory feelings of the elderly living space.The subject is the first-hand materials of studying the current of life of the elderly people of old neighborhood, and the old residential areas. Looking for a right way of livingspace optimization and reconstruction scheme for old people in Suzhou. The study will give some help to the old city protection and optimization of transformation of the old city living space. The study also provided guidance and suggestions and ideas for other city an old building.
