Research On Age Friendly Interior Design Of Living Space For The Elderly Living Alone

In recent years,the emergence of "day care center","sojourn for the aged" and other new ways of pension can alleviate the tension of pension problems in China to a certain extent,but under the influence of traditional ideas,the elderly hope to spend their old age in a safe place or their original homes.With the changes of China’s family structure and traditional concepts,the number of elderly people living alone,as an important part of the urban elderly population,is gradually increasing.The research purpose of this paper is to provide suitable living space for elderly people living alone,fully reflect the aging of living space,and realize the true meaning of aging in place.Based on the characteristics and needs of the elderly living alone,this paper studies the elderly living space design.Taking urban elderly living alone aged 60 and above as the main research object,this paper studies the living space of elderly living alone,adopts interdisciplinary comprehensive analysis and research method,and combines geriatric psychology,environmental psychology,barrier-free design and other theories.First of all,this paper expounds the characteristics of the elderly living alone,and discusses the demand of the elderly living alone for the elderly interior design,so as to provide a basis for the targeted design principles of living space.This paper analyzes the physiological characteristics of the elderly living alone to improve the accessibility of the elderly living space;From the psychological characteristics of the elderly living alone analysis,to promote the generation to help meet the emotional needs of elderly living alone;By analyzing the behavior and activity characteristics of the elderly living alone,aims to make the living space can bettermeet the needs of the elderly living alone.According to the demand of elderly people living alone and the current situation that the existing residential space is lack of design,through the combination of consulting and collecting data and field investigation,this paper expounds the design quo of the solitary elderly people living space,combined with domestic and foreign outstanding case analysis,makes a summary for our country’s design deficiencies of the existing solitary elderly people living space,in order to provide the basis for the design strategy of building a solitary elderly people living space.This paper discusses the characteristics of the elderly people living alone,the willingness of elderly people living alone to the old-age-appropriate interior design combined with the analysis of domestic and foreign outstanding case,and puts forward the principle of old-age-appropriate interior design of living space for the elderly people living alone,and guided by this design principle,constructs the solitary old man living space of old-age-appropriate interior design strategy,which is the core part of this paper.Through the research in this paper,it realizes the use of the design method to make the living space of the elderly people living alone more suitable.In addition,this paper also proposes specific design principles and are constructs detailed design strategies.As a result,as an important design principle,old-age-appropriate can be incorporated into interior design at the beginning of residential space design to enrich relevant theories of residential space interior design with a new reference value.
