Our country firstly tried to use shear wall structure with bottom big space in the1970 s.Up to now only forty years, the high-rise structure buildings with transfer story or setting transfer member are increasingly built in our country. And it has become one of the development trend of modern high-rise building. The functional requirements of the building and the progress of structure design theory promotes the progress the application of transfer story in the engineering to various forms and methods, and the structure stress direction become more favorable. At the conversion position of the high-rise building with transfer story, the rooms at the upper part have large standard width, and the rooms at the lower part have small standard width. This makes lateral stiffness vary in vertical direction, the vertical lateral force resisting members discontinuity at the same time. The lack of force transmission path will lead to progressive collapse, the structural layout must be reasonable to assure effective transfer of vertical load and horizontal shear. Therefore, it has important theoretical value and practical significance of the research on the seismic performance of building structure with transfer story.Combined with the design concept of seismic performance, this paper selected a shear wall structure building with transfer story in Hefei as the research object. Using the software of PKPM to calculate and analyze the whole structure, and focuses on the study of mechanical performance of the frame supported part in static elastic and elastic-plastic stage. The main research work and conclusions are as follows:(1) Collecting relevant literature to understand the research status and development trend of the structure with the transfer story, and introducing the methods of seismic analysis and the finite element theory of building structures.(2)Using SATWE program to analyze the structure’s response spectrum analysis and elastic time-history analysis under frequent earthquake, the results show that the performance of the structure under frequent earthquake accord with the specification limits, and elastic time-history analysis and response spectrum analysis results are basically the same. The results are consistent with the concept of mechanics and engineering experience and the structure can satisfy the requirement of “ no damage under minor earthquake”.(3)Using FEQ program to conduct finite element analysis of a frame supported shear wall under the vertical constant load and the earthquake of Y direction. This paper try tosummarize the stress distribution rules of the calculation models, and check the results of SATWE reinforcement, and analyze the common degree of the frame supported shear wall.(4)Using PUSH program to conduct static elastic-plastic analysis of the structure under rare earthquake. The results show that transfer members and the main component to resist lateral force have no serious damage, the control indexes of the structure under rare earthquake meet the requirements and the failure sequence and mechanism of the component is reasonable. The structure meet the seismic performance objectives and requirements of “no collapse under strong earthquake”.(5)Evaluating the seismic performance of the whole structure, and testing the performance of the frame supported part in the static elastic and elastic-plastic stage, we put forward specific measures to strengthen the structural seismic.
