The structure of frame-supported shear wall with the beam style transfer story has been widely used in the tall buildings in China. Because of the obvious changing of vertical rigidity, this structure is greatly different from the traditional ones in forms and load-bearing characterristics. Since vertical stiffness can be used unevenly, the earthquake shearing force of the story produces an abrupt change under the small earthquake. It lead to concentrate the elastic-plastic deformation easyly and become obvious weak story, so it adverse to the seismic behaviour under the intensive earthquake. China is a nation with high activity and high-frequency of earthquakes. So the research of seismic behavior of the structure is of great significance. Although scholars home and abroad have done the massive resraech on these structure, their research on its dynamical characteristics and seismic behavior is not in-depth.The representative tall building structure of the frame-supported shear wall with the beam style transfer story are adopted as subjects investigated in this paper. The dynamical response of the structure under small earthquake and intensive earthquake are explored to hold seismic properties of the structure,to offer references to put forward suggestions for actual seismic design of the structure. Main research work are as follows:1. A three-dimensional finite element analysis model of tall structure is established, and its modal, natural vibration period and frequency and shake type is analyzed based on the theory of the dynamic analysis and ANSYS program and hold the fundamental dynamical properties of the structure.2. Through elastic and elastic-plastic analysis of the structure's dynamic response under single or bidirectional seismic wave inputs, it focuses on the displacement-time history response of top floor, maximal floor displacement and inner-story drifts ratio and the distribution of internal force in the bottom support component of the structure, which influenced by different seismic wave,3. Through the analysis of the structure's dynamic response, it is found that the spectral characteristics of the input seismic wave have significant influence on the dynamic response of the structure. At the same time, it may bring about bigger error and be not enough all-round and safe under the single directional seismic wave in seismic design . And the suggestion of supplementing bidirectional seismic wave inputs in evaluating the seismic behavior of the structure is put forward.
