Urban Spatial Development Strategy Research In Jilin In The Context Of New-type Urbanization

Urbanization is an important force to balance regions, urban and rural development in the economy and society. With the urban and rural problems caused by traditional urbanization becoming more and more obvious, New-type Urbanization following the tide has given rise to development strategy at the national level. New-type Urbanization, whose core is people-oriented, makes a transition from paying attention to the speed of urbanization in the past to taking into account of the speed and quality of urbanization in the present, emphasizing on the role of urban agglomeration acting as carrier in developing urbanization and coordinating the development of different grades of towns.For Jilin Province,the fragile ecological environment, marginalization of geographical location and economic development, the low level of industrial development, relatively backward infrastructure etc. are restricting the development of economy and urbanization. At the same time, in Jilin Province, the problems of urban spatial development, for example, looseness of urban spatial structure, the rating scale of fault and unsynchronization of urbanization and economic development, are clear. So, under the background of promoting New-type Urbanization, Jilin Province should according to its own situation solve the problems existing in the process of urbanization and urban spatial development.In this paper, the research main content is divided into four parts. First of all, through the natural location, economic pattern, infrastructure projects, the existing problems in the development we can know the general development situation of Jilin Province; according to the development curve of urbanization since the founding, paper divides urbanization development stage of Jilin Province and analyzes the motivation and mode of urbanization; from the three aspects of urbanization, urban spatial structure, urban scale analyzes Jilin Province present situation and problems of urban spatial development. Secondly, under the strategy of New-type Urbanization, based on the analysis of Jilin Province urbanization development about external and internal factors, paper discusses the disequilibrium urbanization strategy of Jilin Province on its content, necessity and implementation strategy. The disequilibrium urbanization strategy of Jilin Province which adheres to the urbanization mode of top-down gives the priority of urbanization in central region and central city having good development conditions.The third part, based on the above analysis, paper analysis goal, content and countermeasures of Jilin Province urban spatial development strategy.This strategy not only emphasizing on developing the middle regions and constructing many types of fulcrums but also taking into account the coordination development of the province between the middle regions and other areas. Finally, from the three dimensions of point, line, surface, paper points out that Jilin Province structures and cultivates urban spatial structure,making and implementing the corresponding strategy to guide spatial development.
