The conflict between the right-turn motor vehicles included electric bicycles and the straight for non- motor vehicles leads to the problems of the increase of delay, the reduced security, and so on. The studies about conflict between vehicles and non- motor vehicles at the intersection at home and abroad pay more attention to the question of whether the vehicles can pass through the non- motor vehicles, and lose sight of the differences caused by electric bicycles and bicycles. According to the actual investigation at many intersections of China, it is found that the actual investigation doesn’t match to the fundamental principles of the present conflicting studies. Though the vehicle has predicted that non- motor vehicle will become a priority of the conflict point, many vehicles will still be running at a low speed, so that the non- motor vehicle have to decelerate or change the path. The conflict between the right-turn motor vehicles included electric bicycles and the straight for non-motor vehicles is studied, the research contents and innovations are as follows:Therefore, based on vast investigations, this dissertation analyses the motion characteristics of vehicles, and builds the judgment motion model for the right-turn vehicles, meanwhile, the judgment motion model for non- motor vehicles which is based on path choices is builded, and then the simulation system framework of the conflict between the right-turn motor vehicles and the straight for non-motor vehicles is designed. the research can be a useful supplement for the theory of the traffic conflicts.The methods of literature analysis and field investigation are used to analyze the movement characteristics of non-motor vehicles at the intersection point. First because of the characteristics of the non-motor vehicles are in concert with classic studies, the literature acquisition method is adopted to analyze the above characteristics, including the arrival rate characteristics of non-motor vehicles at the intersection, the acceleration characteristics at a green light, and the deceleration characteristics at a red light and queuing density characteristics.Then the vehicle motion characteristics,based on the data of the intersection of atypical conflict situation, were collected by field investigation.Namely first obtain video traffic data by field investigation, then the image capture software is used to converted the video into images, finally the video conversion software is used to change the vehicle image coordinates into its actual coordinates, on the basis of the relationship betwee n vehicle speed, acceleration and its actual coordinates, the vehicle velocity characteristic the and vehicle acceleration characteristic of vehicle are obtained.Then the judgment motion model for the motor vehicle is established. When there is no conflict or the vehicle occupies the conflict zone, the classical methods can be carried out; when non-motor vehicle occupies the conflict zone, on the basis of survey data, this paper proposes a vehicle desired speed model, which can determine a desired speed. And then the vehicle goes through the non- motor vehicle flow at a lower speed. According to the survey data, the desired speed is closely related to the speed of vehicles, the distance to the conflict point, and the types for vehicles and the speed of non-motor vehicles.At the same time, the judgment motion model for non- motor vehicles is built on the basis of route choice. The model suggests that when the vehicle occupies the conflict zone, the non- motor vehicle drivers will select an appropriate path to go through the conflict zone, according to the parameters of the vehicle type, the speed of itself, the vehicle speed, the time to through the conflict zone, and so on. A number of disordered Logistic model is adopted in the model.Finally, in view of the conflict model between non- motor vehicle flow included electric bicycles and the right-turn vehicle at the intersection, the simulation system framework of the judgment motion model for the right-turn vehicles is designed,and then the simulation system framework of the judgment motion model for non-motor vehicles which is based on path choices is designed too,so the basic simulation system framework is designed when the right-turn motor vehicle conflicts with the straight for non-motor vehicles.Why it’s innovative:(1) Then the judgment motion model for the right-turn motor vehicle is established.(2) the judgment motion model for non- motor vehicles is built on the basis of route choice.The classical conflicts judgment mostly follows the rules of yield or priority. According to a lot of survey data, this paper proposes the judgment motion models of motor vehicle and non- motor vehicle based on path selection. The research is more practical and can describe the intersection conflict process more really in some cases.
