According to the general situation of Jinping-II Hydropower Station diversion tunnel, the paper analyzes in detail the project geology, hydrological and geological characteristics and construction geological structure. Based on such hidden geological dangers in projects as karst, big gushing, high crustal stress and rock burst, the paper takes measures to ensure the successful construction of TBM for the big cross section. The main research content is as following: Because the general situation of Jinping-II Hydropower Station diversion tunnel have the dangers of the karst and big gushing, the paper takes the TSP and BEAM of advanced geological forecast technology, and forms the governance construction and technical measures for the high crustal stress, sudden strong karst and slow attenuation of gushing.Through the mechanism of high in-situ stress of rock strata, and using microseismic monitoring technology, judging the level of rock burst and possibility of occurrence; taking test in combination with the new supporting materials and new technology; taking the form of supporting and the parameter of the tunneling in the different locations and parts, it forms the construction and technical measures for the different situations in different engineering.Through establishment of on-site laboratories, usage of virtual instrument technology and development of TBM status monitoring and fault diagnosis system, the paper progresses with components such as the main drive motor, main bearing and the main beams as the research object, tests their temperature, vibration and strain, assisted by oil monitoring and analysis, achieving real-time data acquisition and processing, which thereby will effectively controls TBM equipment failure.
