With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,people pay more and more attention to health problems. The market has been in existence for a large number of electronic medical products, such as electronic blood glucose meter, electronic sphygmomanometer and other electronics. These devices are generally characterized by small size, easy to carry and easy to operate, these features have been able to meet some people’s needs. But with the development of the times, information, intelligence and networking is increasingly becoming people’s needs, and some of the disadvantages of these devices has become increasingly evident. First, the price of these device is relatively expensive, the second is that a recognized industry standards in accuracy is not clear. These devices do not have a communication interface, unable to transmit the data, which is not conducive to the storage and processing of data.Aiming at the advantages and disadvantages of the electronic sphygmomanometer on the market, the structure of hardware and software of the electronic sphygmomanometer is designed in this paper, the purpose is to improve shortcomings of the current electronic sphygmomanometer to meet demand of the market. This thesis studies the current electronic sphygmomanometer of some companies on the market from the measurement accuracy and function etc. After analyzing their strengths and weaknesses,I determined the electronic sphygmomanometer design and selection of system controller chips. Amplifying and filter circuit before AD conversion is designed, and the hardware circuit is simulated and error analysis in multisim12 software, further ensure the effectiveness and improve accuracy of the sampled signal. I also design the LCD display, buttons and some other circuits, and make it essy to display and operate for sphygmomanometer. Zigbee module is connected with the sphygmomanometer, to achieve remote transmission of the data. Finally,the code is programming and porting in the IAR software.The electronic device designed in this article has following characteristics:(1) Using TI’s MSP430F149 microcontroller as the hardware platform.which is famous for low power consumption and fast computing speed, the chip has a built-ADC12, relatively high conversion accuracy and reduce the peripheral and cost savings.(2) With a three op amp differential amplifier and band-pass filter circuit, the accuracy of the sampled signal is high, and the data obtained accurately.(3) RS232 serial port is connected to the module Zigbee to implement wireless signal transmission, to facilitate the doctor long-term observation on patients with hypertension.(4) Using the IAR software makes programming process modularity and standardization,and improve the portability and scalability of the programs.
