China is currently in the period of rapid urbanization, and urban space layout is alsochanging. Promote the integration of urban and rural areas in the new urbanizationprocess based on the results of China’s important strategic measure to build a socialistharmonious society. Urban-rural integration involves many areas, and it has rich contents, such as economy, society, ecology, and so on. However, the planning and implementationof each of these areas will need to be implemented by arranging the space layout. Spatialdistribution are closely related to economy, society and other factors, and because of itsown unique meaning, in turn, it can also affect the further development of the society andeconomy, thus the development process of urban-rural integration will be restricted. Thisstudy discusses the integration of the spatial layout of urban and rural development bycombining the Theory of Organic Decentralization.Through study on the development process of China’s urban-rural integration, it isfound that the majority of the regional performance shows a rigorous space layout andexcellent municipal facilities of all kinds in urban areas, which forms a stark contrastwith the chaotic space structure and underdeveloped material and spiritual life in ruralareas. This phenomenon shows a typical feature of remarkable duality space layout. Atthe same time, rural-urban linkages in the region space is not tight enough, the internalspatial structure has not formed an organism, resulting in a lag in the exchange ofresources between urban and rural areas To solve these problems mentioned above, thisdissertation systematically reviewed the research theory and practice and related to thedevelopment model of urban space layout, and draw lessons from other researches andsuccessful experience as well. Then it expounds the concept, knowledge, content, etc., ofthe Theory of Organic Decentralization thought and spatial layout of urban-ruralintegration, as well as the intrinsic link between the two, and further sums up theEnlightenment thinking of Theory of Organic Decentralization and spatial layout ofurban-rural integration. space elements distribution of urban-rural system is built, andwith the development of urban-rural dual structure it shows a feature of dual spatialdistribution characteristics, and their spatial structure create a space unit on their own.Based on this, combined with pace layout it selects urban and rural architecture, industrial layout, transportation networks, infrastructure, public services and ecosystemstructure, creating the correlative analysis. And it takes Danyang City’ integration ofurban and rural planning as a case, to explore their own internal layout of the laws associated with urban and rural spatial layout and its impact on the integration of spatiallayout of urban and rural development. And it sums up the integration of urban and ruralspatial layout planning practice experience through theory and case study in theperspective of the Theory of Organic Decentralization thought. Subsequently, it analyzesthe existing problems of the spatial distribution of urban-rural integration in theperspective of the Theory of Organic Decentralization, and combined with relevantexperience and theoretical research and the Theory of Organic Decentralization ideas thedissertation puts forward two developing strategies of Macro Organic Decentralizationand Micro Organic Decentralization on the space layout of Urban-rural integration, andthe three principles of overall regional development, sustainable development andpeople oriented, and on the basis of which it summarizes several reasonable proposals onthe spatial layout of urban-rural development. Finally, the it puts forward thedevelopment conception of "organic whole and healthy development" on the spatialdistribution of urban and rural areas.
