Study On The Service For The Aged Of Empty Nest Villages In Xi'an

China's aging population is currently one of the major social problems facing. As the long-term dual structure, resulting in the aging population is characterized by significant urban-rural gap. Growth of the rural elderly population will be a problem to the social stability and development in rural areas. Respect, care and love the elder is the traditional Chinese virtues. In this paper, the starting point and goal is how to alleviate the problem of rural old-age and make a happy living environment for the elderly.The rural old-age problem of rural arises in the process of urbanization, so the solution to the problem of rural old-age should be found in urban and rural development. As the special geographical location, socio-economic conditions, cultural and other factors, the pension problem of rural is different from the urban.The paper studied the characteristics and needs of the elderly, the development of the rural pension, and the village environment for the elderly. By studied these, the paper concluded the problem of the existing rural old-age models, and the village environment for the elderly. Secondly, paper pointed out that the rural old-age problem arises in the process of urbanization, so the solution to the problem of rural old-age should be found in urban and rural development. The paper also proposed the concept of organic renewal for suitable environment for the rural elderly, by used Living organic renewal theory, urban-rural integration theory and the villages and town shape evolution theory. The concept has two aspects, one is that the organic renewal of the overall settlement includes integration of urban and rural infrastructure, integration of urban and rural industries and integration of urban and rural aged care facilities; the other is that the organic renewal of the settlement unit includes residential courtyard, Public Building Forms and infrastructure.By studied the pension problem of rural, The author does not expect to completely solve the problem.The purpose of the paper is that we should concern about the empty nest elderly in special groups of rural, and build comfortable homes for them.
