With the rapid development of embedded Linux technology,image processingtechnology,net video transmission technology and the enhance the people’s awareness ofsafety, how to resolve key areas and safety monitoring of large machinery has become animportant issue. Therefore,installing video acquisition and monitoring system on large cranesis so imminent.In this paper, aiming at above problems, taking the DM3730dual core processor of TI ashardware platform, focusing on source codes analysis and transplantation of FFMPEG,complete coding video, developed a video monitoring system which based on embedded Webserver. Transmit working condition and video signals of crane to the remote control room, tomake full preparations for all kinds of emergencies. The realization process mainly includesthe following contents:1. Hardware design of the system. Mainly includes: processor, serial ISP, USB camera.2. Build embedded Linux software development platform. Mainly includes thetransplantation of Boot loader, build cross compiler environment,cut and transplant of Linuxkernel.3. Achieving embedded Web server Boa and designing QT interface.4. Analysis and transplantation of FFMPEG source code, design and transplantation ofH.264, realizing encrypting and decrypting algorithm of FFMPEG video by RC4encryptionand decryption algorithm.This paper aims at the video acquisition and monitoring system of the crane, throughDM3730’s hardware code module which supports FFMPEG video encryption and decryptiontechnology and video encryption and decryption algorithm. Complete data acquisition andstorage of crane by using QT and embedded SQLite database. At the same time, transplantingembedded Web server on the target board. The monitoring terminal can access the serverthrough the Internet browser, getting real time monitoring signals,and finally realizingremote monitoring of crane.
