After the highway construction peak in90years of the last century, at present, The asphalt pavement in China is entering into maintenance period, each year,12percent of the asphalt pavement need to re-paving and repair, which produce large amounts of waste materials, so the waste pavement materials recycling is an important problem to be solved. Emulsified asphalt recycling technology can save resources, reduce construction costs, conserve natural resources and to follow the development of China’s current energy saving ideas, so that it makes the limited funds to create a better economic efficiency. In this paper, in view of emulsified asphalt cold recycling mix of existing specification Marshall mix design methods molding and performance does not match with the scene, through indoor and outdoor experiments studied, come up with the method of mix design based on gyratory compaction, and Mixture Performance verify, improve the design level of recycling mixture, to provide technical support for the application of recycling mixture.The Research on Emulsified Asphalt Cold-Recycling Mixture Design indoor Based on Gyratory Compaction Method. In this paper, combining with Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Recycling project, indoors with gyratory compaction methods for emulsified asphalt mix design. According to before and after of the aged material extraction and recycling of aged asphalt evaluation and analysis to determine the synthesis of gradation. Based on the principle of maximum dry density similar to identify the gyratory compaction power that corresponding to heavy compaction power, and then transform different water content to find the optimum water content under the gyratory compaction power. Also find the gyratory compaction power corresponding to the marshall compaction with75times, rotational molding specimens at different dosage emulsified asphalt, then depend on wet splitting strength and the actual construction to determine the optimum dosage of emulsified asphalt, and confirm the target gradation design of emulsified asphalt recycling mixed. According to the target design to rotational molding specimens, and the specimens bagged and non-bagged curing respectively, to find the best curing time with laboratory and on-site construction.The Research on Emulsified Asphalt Cold-Recycling Mixture performance Based on Gyratory Compaction Method. According to the target design, rotational molding specimens indoors, testing the performance of its initial loose performance; change in a different amount of cement molding rutting board of50mm thickness, to detect high temperature performance, low temperature performance; changing the number of gyratory compaction test and analysis of recycling mixed with shear capacity and water stability.The Research on The scene performance verification of Emulsified Asphalt Cold Recycling Mixture.Combined with the experimental road on-site construction of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay, elaborate on pre-construction preparation, construction technique on-site, coring of late curing in detail, detection and analysis the performance of core specimens to verify the reliability of gyratory compaction molding, the results show that emulsified asphalt cold-recycling has good performance, and has a higher social and environmental benefits.
