Societies in Contemporary China has undergone rapid economic development period, architecture has also ushered in an unprecedented development, and has made remarkable achievements. But in the behind these achievements, there are many problems to be solved:Architecture faced with the contradiction between globalization and localization, cultural heritage and development of technology. From the reform and opening up, China has developed rapidly in Architecture, Western postmodernism, late modernism, deconstruction and critical regionalism architectural thought constant influx of new architectural style makes appeared frequently. In addition to the spread of architectural thought in the country, the foreign architects have begun active in the Chinese construction market, making the urban landscape and architectural forms never reach the complexity of domestic architects and architectural exhibits dazed state.Wang Shu won the2012Pritzker Architecture Prize, Chinese architects practice and exploration was first recognized in the world, and to the arbitrariness of the domestic construction sounded the alarm. Wang Shu inherited the essence of the modern ideology, based on local traditions, creating a very local characteristics of modern architecture; his unique architectural language and ways of thinking respond to the real world as well as domestic of all the changes and contradictions, to achieve the Chinese tradition culture in the construction of modern translation. Therefore, Wang Shu architectural creation for interpretation and analysis is necessary, but also has far-reaching practical significance.In this paper, Wang Shu’s growing experience as the main line, deeply explore his architectural concept and design. Wang Shu’s growing experience can be divided into three stages:initiation and study periods, study periods and practical thinking and exploration period. On practice and exploration period, Wang Shu by drawing on traditional architectural shapes and traditional spatial organization approach to building layout and spatial sequence organization, and thus reflects the traditional culture flavor and charm; Through the conversion of the building materials "construction" and "construction art", the building works of art and humanities linked to express respect for tradition and heritage; By drawing on the external form of traditional architecture and traditional symbols, expression of a new architectural image.Based on the research of Wang Shu building concept and methodology, for he was the representative of the non-mainstream architects as well as award-winning architect in China’s foreign creative practice case studies, and Wang Shu and foreign architects were four aspects of comparison:the attitude towards traditional culture, architectural space handling, use of technical means and architectural forms of treatment.In this paper, through a comparative analysis of Wang Shu and the related architects, thinking with "Chinese architectural features" way of creation and the training direction of architecture students. Chinese architecture should move towards building and geographic, cultural, technological, economic and other conditions fit with local architectural direction; Architects in enhancing professional competence, it should also enhance their overall quality, including an enhanced sense of social responsibility and team collaboration awareness, etc. architectural education should emphasize the cultivation of students’ professionalism, focus on its humanistic quality, innovative ideas and aesthetic capability.
