| Nowadays, the total mileage of highway in China has exceeded4,000,000kilometers. Among which the total length of highway above second-class is460,000kilometers and that of the expressway is80,000kilometers, which is the second longest in the world. By the end of the Twelfth Five Years Plan, the total mileage of the highway will reach to4,500,000kilometers with the further expansion of the road network and that of the expressway will reach to108,000kilometers with the basically completion of the national expressway network. At present, the highway in our country has entered into the age of large and medium scale of maintenances and the focus of our work on road has also moved from new construction to medium and large scale of maintenances. Choosing of the maintenance method will affect the cost efficiency, recovery of the highway capacity and reduction of environmental impact. In recent years, the Old Asphalt Pavement Recycling has developed relatively fast in our country and drew attentions from all the aspects. It has reached to a new high both in equipment and technology and can be promoted in maintenance projects.The aim of this paper is to study the application of asphalt pavement on-the-spot hot regeneration technology in North Loop Expressway of the Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway Project. It mainly carried out the analysis on the grading of the recycled asphalt pavement, design of the grading proportion, combination of the hot regeneration equipment, work craft of the on-the-spot regeneration and the relevant specifications of the regenerated pavement. The quality of the hot regenerated pavement is directly related to the material of the asphalt mixture and the control of work craft. The performance of the aging asphalt in the mixture can be recovered through reasonable adding asphalt recycling agent, and the hot regenerated asphalt mixture can meet the requirement of road performance through careful organization. The technology of hot regeneration of asphalt pavement has not only economic, but also social and environmental benefit. The hot regeneration technology can make full use of the old asphalt mixture, avoid pollution of the old asphalt, saving large amount asphalt and rock sand material, which meets the strategy of sustainable development in our country.This paper also researches the application of cold plant regeneration of emulsified asphalt technology in the base course pavement in Jiaozhou Bay Expressway Maintenance Project and analyses its performance during the testing period. Based on the material characteristics of cold plant regeneration of emulsified asphalt, this paper evaluates the proportion of the regenerated mixture and its performance, optimizes the design method of cold plant regeneration of emulsified asphalt, and summarizes the work craft, proportion and pavement craft of cold plant regeneration of emulsified asphalt. It aims to improve and perfect the cold regeneration technology in our country through construction, so as to promote the technology application in China in large area. |
