A lot of pavement is reconstructed every year in our country, which will produce lots of waste and old materials. It can not only reduce the demand for road construction and energy, save project investment, but also protect the environment, if the waste and old materials of asphalt pavement could be recycled. It is a new energy saving and emission reduction technology, in line with the overall direction and needs of national economic and social development and the requirements of sustainable development. Therefore, it has an important practical significance to research the application of cement cold regeneration aggregates.Based on the analysis of cement cold regeneration aggregates, the paper selects cement as the stabilizer to carry out the research of the component design of cement cold regeneration aggregates and the road performance, to analyze the strength formation mechanism of cement cold regeneration aggregates, by analyzing the project of old asphalt pavement materials regeneration, the effect and characteristics of a variety of cold regeneration stabilizers. Combing with the experimental study of mechanical strength, the structure design parameter values of cement cold regeneration aggregates are put forward. According to analyzing the typical semi-rigid asphalt pavement structure stress state, the tensile stress level of cement cold regeneration aggregates base and strength control standards of aggregates are researched. Aimed at the characteristics of semi-rigid asphalt pavement heavy maintenance, the application research of cement cold regeneration aggregates in the engineering is conducted. Finally, the construction technology of cement cold regeneration aggregates base is launched to research.Research shows that the new aggregates'proportion should be appropriately controlled around 15%, and the cement dose should be 4% to 5%. Characteristics of cold regeneration aggregates basically meet the general characteristics of cement stabilized materials; The strength and resilience modulus of Cement cold regeneration aggregates are low, but stable performance, erosion resistant and anti-contracting performance are good, especially the anti-cracking and anti-erosion performance. Asphalt and semi-rigid materials have an adverse impact on the strength of cement cold regeneration materials. Cement cold regeneration aggregates appropriately controlled by the double indexes of the unconfined compressive strength and cleavage strength. Cement cold regeneration aggregates can be applied to pavement subbase in highway and first class highway, cautious applied to base, also can be applied to pavement base in secondary roads and third-class highway; Cement cold regeneration lime-soil can be applied to subbase in secondary roads and third-class highway. Cement cold regeneration materials are especially suitable for asphalt pavement overhaul engineering.The research results have better practicability and remarkable economic and social benefits, also could promote the popularization of cement cold regeneration materials.
