In today’s urban construction rapid development, the heating demand is alsoincreasing. The most main of how to effectively scientific management and control of theheating system is to control boiler which is the core of the heating system. By investigatingthe situation of the current heating combined with engineering of the practical need andaccording to the characteristics of biomass boiler system, a set of system is developed,based on the design of boiler temperature control CAN bus biomass boilers, distributedcontrol and network monitoring. The system mainly solves the problem of uncomfortabletemperature and fuel waste etc. To achieve optimal control and improve the fuel utilizationrate when the urban residents use biomass boilers in central heating.This article designs a DCS control system in view of the actual situation of biomassboiler system, based on CAN bus, boiler controller, computer and MCGS configurationsoftware as the core. The system consists of two parts of centralized monitoring controlsystem and distributed control system. The host computer consisting of computer andMCGS configuration software, real-time monitors and data communicates the boilerparameters, and controls each boiler. The slave computer adopts the existing boilercontroller to control a single boiler by way of a machine and all the data informationtransmits to the host computer monitoring by CAN bus, realizing optimal control. Themain content of the research is the monitor interface of the host computer, control strategyand the CAN bus communication protocol design.The design realizes the host computer monitoring software by MCGS configurationsoftware. In order to be more objective response and adapt to the requirement of controlsystem, we design the main interface, the main operation interface of every boiler, recordand report display interface, system alarm recording interface, system parameters and userparameter modification interface, system real-time data interface, manual control systeminterface, operation mode selection interface and setting up permissions of the monitoringsystem. For the sake of more control of each boiler using the host computer to achieve theoptimal, the design compiles the control strategy of the boiler opening in the PC interface.The strategy fuzzily subs the local outside temperature combining local winter externalenvironment temperature data and the experience over the years, opens the allocation number of boiler under different ambient temperature, and further controls the operation ofthe boiler, according to combining of the boiler’s power and the error of room temperaturevalue and the set value. The design Centralizes intelligent control of boiler, so as to realizethe energy saving and emission reduction.Considering that the lower and host computer is not with CAN bus interface but withRS485/232interface, The design a bus adapter of a CAN-RS232/485, to realize theexchange of CAN bus data and RS232bus and RS485bus data.
