Still keeping a lot of historical places and kulturkunst,Shanxi is the cradle of Chinese nation. There is a Diantou ancient village located in Jinyuan area taiyuan city shanxi province.It is known for abundant resources of cultural relics.Especially the stone cave-dwelling groups is rare,which is not only have the characteristics of military but also be famous for its business characteristic. However, under the impact of historical changes and modernization, it is of great urgency and challenge to protect of Diantou ancient village. Current researches about environmental improvement of Diantou village are insufficient. In order to have a better protection and development of Diantou village, a primary study was developed to achieve a well combination of environmental improvement and landscape design in Diantou village, based on a large amount of literature and investigations. In this thesis, the village was expected to have new vitality and become a historical and cultural tourist village.The thesis consists of six parts.The first part took a brief introduction to the research origin, purpose of the research, the research significance and the research status. It summarized the related concept of this thesis, defining research range which mainly is the environment of the ancient village and its surrounding. It also summed up the research method and system frame.Then the Diantou ancient village was generally summarized from the following three aspects:the historical origin, village arrangement and environment.In the third chapter village environment was divided into three sections and described respectively. First, geological environment background, such as geological characteristics, mining activities and geological hazard, was described and analyzed. Then, the central environment of Diantou village was described separately, including inlet of village, Street Lane, courtyards and landscape. Finally, the peripheral environment was analyzed in the same way, including mountain body, river system, vegetation and road. Existing problems of the environment are also considered in this part.The fourth part explained the purpose, method and principle of the research. And the research was carried out by questionnaire about environment improvement of Diantou ancient village.The fifth part mainly discussed about environment improvement and landscape design of central environment, including inlet of village, Street Lane, courtyards and landscape.In the sixth section the peripheral environment of Diantou ancient village was discussed, mainly studying its environment improvement and landscape design, such as mountain body, river system, vegetation and road.In the concluding remarks, First, an attractive tourist route was expected to meet consumption demand of tourists and obtain sustainable benefit, which can be established through a combination of Jinci, Big Buddha Status of Mountain Meng and Diantou village. Secondly, the dissertation carried out an innovative study by dividing the environment of Diantou village into central environment and peripheral environment and analyzing separately. Finally I obtained:About the Wind yuhe in this area, we should not be engaged in Man-Made River project. While we must put emphasis on the establishment of eco-development and exploitation of the mining sites, based on the investigation about geological hazard before large remediation. And connecting with reality, part of the landscape design icons are provided.In a word, Diantou ancient village, as the only historical and cultural famous village in Taiyuan, requires much more attention to its key historical relics. And if we work hard, the future will be even more promising.
