Study On The Protection And Utilization Of Diantou Ancient Village In Taiyuan

Shanxi is big province with huge historical heritage. In addition to a large number of temples, ancient city, Shanxi compound, but also a large number of unique ancient villages. Diantou village located in Jinyuan district, City of Taiyuan, it was a key transportation hub of the land and military garrison. Special geographical environment, social and cultural background and the interaction of human activities over a long period make architectural of Diantou village combination features of military and commerce. Lose of previous advantage of transportation and changes of culture depressed Diantou Village generally, and shock by city modernization rise the threats that village will be destroy. As one of fifths serious of historical famous ancient villages, it has became a encountered problem that how to protect and use ancient village effectively and scientifically.This paper concludes the unique feature of Diantou village from nature environment, artificial environment and human environment based on deeply investigation; and classified analyzed today's situation of historical environment of village and main problems we encountered when we protect village. Then, through collection lots of cases from other countries that focus on historical village protection and usage, we conclude and propose a development system, protection model, usage method and which is sustainable community participant for Diantou village based practical environment, economy situation and geography feature. In the end, we deeply discussed protection and usage method for Diantou village and promote a detailed protection and usage action for Diantou village.This paper consists of seven parts:The first part:Introduction to study background, purpose, significance and system frame of research.The second part:Analyzing and regulating for general culture feature and architectural feature of Diantou village; concluding the unique value of Diantou village through nature environment, artificial environment and human environment.The third part:Classification and evaluation for historical environment of Diantou Village; systematically analyzing and description of problems that we encounter today during protection process.The fourth part:Constructing a generic model for protection, usage, and development system through collection and analyzing of cases of protection for historical village. In addition, proposed community partici-pant for Diantou village through analysis the typical examples.The fifth part:Discussed the protection method of Diantou Village and illustrate specific protection detail from aspects of nature environment, artificial environment and human environment, respectively.The sixth part:Raised on the use strategy for Diantou ancient villages, specifically including the regional tourism planning, general position of usage for village and detailed usage method is proposed from aspects of nature resource, historical architecture and Non-material culture.The seventh part:Conclusion and future work for development of Diantou Village.
