As the new green energy, lithium batteries are used more and more widely, andincreasingly used in electric bicycles and electric cars replace lead-acid batteries.Lead-acidbatteries contain the harmful heavy metals like cadmium, lead, mercury and big volume,heavy weight. In addition, the capacity of lead-acid batteries would drop dramatically atlow temperature that would lead to shorten the service life. And lithium batteries are wellsolved the lead-acid battery of these drawbacks. However, as lithium batteries usageincreases, The management problems, including lithium battery security protection, faultdiagnosis, life cycle management and anti-theft, is becoming more and more serious.This paper design and implement a kind of lithium battery management system whcihcan satisfy the daily functions of lithium battery protection board. They contain theprotection of overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and so on. Alao lithiumbattery management system can transmit the real-time information of lithium batteriesthrough wireless communication to the Internet reader. Via the Internet or3G network, thereader can transmit information of lithium batteries to the lithium battery managementplatform. By that, the lithium battery management platform can interactive data with thelithium battery protection board, and also can real-time understand the dynamic of lithiumbatteries. It is a very good way to complete the transparent management of lithiumbatteries.
