Electromagnetic induction heating has the advantage of efficiency, cleaning and easy to controlling and is increasingly used in thermal fatigue simulating test bench of engine. In the previous researches, the induction coil was designed by engineering experience. By this way, the coil often needs to be modified several times, and the designed coil often can’t simulate the thermal load of the engine heated parts accurately. In order to solve this problem, the influence law of induction coil parameters on induction heating thermal field has been studied by the finite element numerical analysis. This influence law can guide the design of induction coil and make the simulating thermal load more accurate and improve the accuracy of the thermal fatigue simulating experiments. The main contain of this thesis are listed below:1.The Electromagnetic induction heating with different induction coils shape, distance between the induction coils and the heating surface, width of the copper tube, and distance between these copper tubes has been simulated by ANSYS software. And the influence law of these parameters on the induction heating temperature field has been studied by comparing the simulation result. The results indicate that (1) the shape of induction heating temperature field is similar to the shape of the coil.(2) The smaller the distance between the coil and heating surface, the higher of the heating temperature amplitude, while the distance has little impact on the temperature field.(3) The slenderer the copper tube and the smaller the distance between the copper tubes, the higher of the maximum the heating temperature, and the high temperature area moves towards the edge of the plane.2.In order to verify the accuracy of the ANSYS magnetic-thermo coupled simulation model, a temperature test experiment of plate induction heating has been designed and the temperature of the heated surface of the plate has been tested. And the maximum deviation between the experimental results and simulation results is9.0%, which demonstrates high accuracy of the model. 3. A induction coil for a diesel engine cylinder head with four valves has been designed according to the feature of its temperature field. And the induction heating temperature of the designed coil has been compared with the test temperature of the cylinder head. The result indicates that the designed coil can simulate the temperature field of key area in the four valves cylinder head.
