The finite element method is a numerical analysis method for the field of mathematics.With the continuous development of computer technology, integrating the finite elementmethod into CAE will solve the complex engineering problems accurately. According toelectronic throttle pedal technical conditions about the pedal linkage static strength, it mainlyaims at deformation and the molding quality requirements for studying.First of all, X reinforcing rib vehicle electronic throttle pedal linkage model were set upin the CATIA V5in this article and introduced it into the finite element analysis softwareABAQUS. Created the FE model according to the minimum potential energy method andrefering to the electronic throttle pedal assembly technical conditions requirement of thisparagraph of the pedal’s static strength characteristics. Calculated results by standard Explicitsolver in ABAQUS and analysed static strength characteristics of X type reinforcing ribs rod.Secondly, in order to using less material, reduce the pedal connecting rod based on theX type reinforcing ribs rod. Created parallel and V types of strengthening rib forms ofelectronic accelerator pedal linkage. Also using the standard Explicit solver in the ABAQUS,verified two kinds of strengthening rib connecting rod strength and deformation of the newlyestablished. And then compares the three forms of strengthening and deformation of staticstrength characteristics of rib electronic throttle pedal linkage.Finally, in order to obtain good appearance quality of electronic throttle pedal, refering toelectronic throttle pedal assembly technical conditions about the appearance of qualityrequirements, and created V type reinforcing ribs pedal linkage gate scheme by Moldflow onthe basis of the control equations of filling. Through the Moldflow optimal gate analysisresults to construct six kinds of different gates chemes. Analyszed results obtained withvarious of schemes about the filling time, injection pressure, weld lines, cavitation and thequality of injection. After that, compared various filling results.YY company’s A0series vehicle electronic throttle pedal has been analysed on thesimulation analysis from some aspects in this article. The analysis results are as below:(1) X type reinforcing rib connecting rod can meet the requirements. The stress of localposition is large and the rod existed optimization space;(2) The three strengthening ribs formthe pedal link static strength satisfying requirements, but parallel connecting rod existeddeformation imbalance phenomenon, then selected V type reinforcing ribs electronic throttlepedal rod model for optimizing model results after the comprehensive evaluation;(3) Schemethat establish the node N11348as gate in evaluation of the filling results, whic can obtaingood molding appearance quality.
