With the development of economy, Car ownership is increasing year by year, Trafficaccidents are also rising. Automobile safety has been paid more and more attention. It is oftenseen. fronted impact, side impact, rear end collision and side rollover accidents, Frontedimpact is the highest proportion accounted for all the collision accident. But the damage ofside collision to the human body and the consequences are more serious. So It is verynecessary to begin the side impact study.In this paper, domestic and foreign research method on side impact will be introduced,and compare with domestic and foreign main safety regulations. Introduce the new carevaluation standard. According to the actual vehicle parameters, establishing simplified modelof vehicle side collision occupant restraint system, and carry on the real vehicle tests, Verifythe validity of the model. This paper proposed an analysis method for vehicle side impactoccupant restraint system parameters based on computer simulation, and a large number ofsimulation calculation was carried out, optimized the design of the door part parametersaccording to the orthogonal test method, completed the first optimization of constrainedsystem.According to the requirements of regulations, establish and matching airbag model.Carry out the impact test of airbag model and Verify the validity of the airbag model. Refer tothe orthogonal text method again, optimized the design of the airbag part parameters.Completed the second optimization of constrained system., protect the side impact occupantprotection performance overall. There is a better reference to the other same type vehicleanalysis.
