Flexible Automobile Parts’ Production Line Improvement Method And Application

When the manufactory plant use the continuous operating production line, because of the operating was more and more easy, by the divided operating, the operator always works with high skilled experience. But after this dividing of the operating contents, engineers always can’t divide them into same pieces. This will cause the production line works in un-balance condition. The bad production line balance will make the production line works in lower productivity, and even make the production line stopped.To meet the variable requirement of the market, it becomes more and more important to improve the efficiency of production line, decrease the storage of half-goods and attain equalization for the pipelines. It is a popular index for the company to make the assessment on a pipeline, and it is also affect the line capability.Through studying on the theory of the assembly line balance and combining the characteristic of the real production line, we find it is helpful to practice the industry engineering technology. First, this paper has recounted the theory of the pipeline balance and of how to make evaluation for it. Then by the theory, the paper defined the detail methods to improve the line balance. For the model of N which is one of the most important products in our company, we found some problems on the pipeline by analyzing the situation:unreasonable measurement for cycle time; obvious neck station; low efficiency for the use of man-machine; improper arrangement for the operation.
