At present,the global economy is suffering from great challenges.The trade friction between big powers and the influence of novel coronavirus epidemic have further worsened the global economic environment.China’s demographic dividend is about to disappear,and the labor costs of domestic enterprises are increasing.China’s manufacturing enterprises are facing unprecedented pressure.Among China’s automobile manufacturers,Company Y has maintained a steady increase in order volume in recent years with the help of its parent company’s large market share and the increase in passenger car market share driven by the improvement of China’s urbanization level,which results in greater pressure on production capacity.Although Y Company had carried out two large-scale production transformation activities in the past few years,the focus of the transformation was mainly on the restructuring of organizational structure and the replacement of production equipment,which failed to effectively improve the operation and production of the enterprise.Therefore,this paper carried out lean optimization research on the production line of Y Company.Based on ideas,this paper has used various industrial engineering production optimization tools to optimize and improve the production line and site of Y Company in an all-round way.Firstly,through the field investigation,we obtained all the data and materials of the production line of Y Company.Then,we studied and analyzed the actual production process of Y Company and identified many problems in the production process.Then use process program analysis,ECRSI principle,5S production management and total productive maintenance methods to lean production line and production site optimization,the balance of the production line rate increase from 70.42% to 91.58%,the cycle time reduced to 276.78 minutes from 378.42 minutes,carried out 5 s production mode and total productive maintenance management,raise the production efficiency of Y company,improve the effect is remarkable.The relevant improvement research of Y Company not only lays a foundation for future improvement,but also can apply the relevant optimization experience to the production lines of other subsidiaries of the parent company,so as to provide reference for the suggested optimization of other subsidiaries.The paper has 25 figures,12 tables,and 68 references.
