| In recent years, urban construction has shown the disorder and sameness of color.Firstly based on this observation, the color feature of Beijing’s historical blocks arechosen as main research in this paper. Then the objective and significance of thisresearch, which is to improve the urban soft power construction and make the urbandevelopment more harmonious and sustainable, are discussed. Researching method andframework are formed by defining the range and object of research and selecting thecase of conservation districts of historic sites in shichahai. Last, corresponding theoryand concept of urban color is detailed. The theoretical foundation is established bystudying amount of references, which is used to summarize the survey of domestic andoverseas urban color developments and constructions.The conservation districts of historic sites in shichahai is selected as a case during theresearch. Some information about the block of shichahai, such as development history,historic evolution, regional characteristics and property, investigation method andprocedure of urban color actuality, are described to make the investigation andsurvey.Based on the measurement, recording, shoot and conclusion of the block’s color,the colorific feature of shichahai’ block is qualitative cognition. Moreover, colordatabases are established in order to build the model of block’s color feature. Theprinciple and method of the proposed model is also discussed. The Munsell color isquantitative researched by adopting Computer Aided Design and statistic analysis. Thescattergram of color element in Munsell is depicted to observe both center frequencyand discrete tendency of each element, which is used to obtain the color characteristicdata and remove the disharmonious color. The model of block’s colorific feature inshichahai is built based on the aforementioned researching and presented aschromatogram. Principles and purposes of corresponding work on color projects inBeijing historical block, which should be followed, are discussed. |
