High-speed development of the world economy, large area of land resource was occupied,which leaded to the rapid rise of the ship industry. Since2004, economic of the world has recovered, according to the statistics of the world ship repair market analysis, ship has entered the aging state with extended operating and high average age. To ensure that these vessels can properly serve the community, ship repair is indeed. The invest of ship owners in ship-repairing is also increasing, which results in thriving future of ship-repairing market for a long period of time. This prosperity requires repair market with suitable modern and efficient repair dock for protection. In summary, the research on large repair dock construction project management has important practical significance.In this paper, it took1#,2#repair dock building project of CSSC "Longxue" shipbuilding base for example, it studied the quality management and quality control problems of large-scale repair dock in the construction process. By a lot of research and market analysis in the first chapter. That paper believed that the spring of ship repair market has come with the recovery of the world ship economic. Therefore, the research on quality management of large-scale repair dock studied construction project has important significance. The main research topics of quality management of large-scale repair dock construction projects on the basis of TQM has been established. And it introduced the research status on total quality management theory, and the theory of the state in the development of Chinese enterprises. In the second chapter, this paper introduced the concept of total quality management, total quality management features, as well as its implementation steps and methods of large-scale infrastructure projects by the second chapter.And considering the impact on people’s initiative, this paper optimized the quality of management of the PDCA four-stage model.In the third chapter, this paper introduced the general circumstances of the1#,2#repair dock project, and focused on the prominent contradictions which existed within the project. And it proposed key problems to be solved, as well as, it analyzed the cause of this problems. The fourth chapter as the focus of this article, corresponding the PDCA cycle, analyzed the steps and methods of four stages of total quality management implementation in the project in detail.And in connection with the optimization of the PDCA four-stage model in the second chapter,specific studied the four stages of quality management quality control measures and results on considering human initiative factors in project example.At last, the fifth chapter is conclusion. It analyzed and summarized the research paper.Through the study of large-scale infrastructure projects in total quality management theory, this paper studied the quality management issues of1#,2#repairing dock project systematically, combining with the experience of "Longxue". Summarized the methods of quality management of large-scale repair dock construction project, and the measures to deal with the problems encountered in the project. To provide a reference for the quality management of large-scale repair dock construction, as well as large-scale construction project.
