The Generating Method Of Architectural Form Under The Sunshine Duration Limitation

Architecture sunshine conditions have become one of the significant standards in Green Building Evaluate System, because of its inevitable effects on our health and living life. Due to the unceasing urbanization, urban intensive level enhanced every day. Sunshine conditions restricted efficient use of urban construction land and improvement of FAR. How can find the balance of them is a must be considered issue for urban planners and architects.On one hand, although some sunshine analysis software can conclude simulation results after the concept design phase, they cannot give designers advising during the design phase. The other hand, as the computer-aided architectural design technology continues to evolve, experiments and cases designed by computer script and parametric design tools emerge in large numbers. Many domestic and foreign institutions have processed plenty of researches and practices in architectural genitive design. Genitive design based on environment analysis trying to integrate architectural analysis and generation by computer aid design.This paper focus on architectural sunshine conditions in building ecological performance, trying to find some building generate methods restricted by sunshine conditions. On the basis of related researches, it concludes three common types of sunshine blocking issues in architectural design and summarizes the characteristics of the base. It also arranges three common types of building bodies, refines its shape generation principle and using grasshopper to generate building bodies. On the Rhino and Grasshopper platform, base on sunshine analysis by Ecotect, using genetic algorithm and annealing algorithm as experiment frame to generate building bodies. This paper records the test process by tables and charts and concludes feasibility and effectiveness. Finally it proposes a suite of building form generate method restricted by sunshine condition on the platform which architects familiar with.The whole thesis contains about40,000words,143pictures and charts.
