Maste pin is used to join the steering knuckle and front-axle, to ensure turn round and return rightly while automobile is driving on the way, and it require a accurate position between them. In the process of pressing of maste pin, pressure force decides the quality of products, when it’s too much may crush the pin,or lead to a incomplete press. So to ensure the quality of product, it needs to combine the change of pressure-force and displacement in the process of pressing. The paper designs a new device, which adopts electro-hydraulic control system of the hydraulic, using electro-hydraulic proportional valve and the force sensor to control pressure-force, by the way of chill pressing to press the maste pin into front-axle, which could meet the demand of high-speed, high-efficiency and energy-saveing in the new situation.According to the process of pressing maste pin, The paper introduces the design proposal and work principle of the overall control system scheme of arbor press. On the platform of Solidworks software, structure the three-dimensional of arbor press, and then simulate assembly arbor press to check whether the device is designed and assembled rightly. Afterwards, analysis maximum stress of the structure under the condition of maximum load.On the base of simulation technology, the emphasis of this paper is to research and analysis of the hydraulic simulation system, and Introduce MATLAB/Simulink software, then use Simulink to model, simulate and analyse of hydraulic proportional control system. According to the results of simulation,then design a PID controller, by checking to prove the PID controller has a good control effect, and satisfies actual demands pretty well.
