As an important way to solve the energy crisis and the environment problem, electricvehicle has received the attention of all the world. Pure electric vehicle uses the renewableelectricity to afford all its required energy and has a great advantage compared to the hybridelectric vehicle and the fuel cell vehicle. So the pure electric vehicle has been the maindeveloping direction of electric vehicles. But the lacking driving range always restricts thedevelopment of pure electric vehicle. The improvement of the pure electric vehicle’s cruiseendurance is mainly based on the development of the related technologies of the energy sourceon the car. Using the limited energy efficiently, which is called the energy management, hasbeen the key technology of pure electric vehicle.This paper mainly focuses on the the key technologies of the energy management, powerdistribution strategy and the regenerative braking control strategy. Aiming at the dual-energysource pure electric vehicle, this paper makes the reasonable power distribution strategy.Theoretical analysis is performed in the working characteristics of each part of the dual-energysource. This paper uses the fuzzy control method to allocate the power between thesuper-capacitor and the battery in real time. The vehicle simulation software ADVISOR isselected to be the simulation platform. Secondary development is taken because of its defectthat can’t afford the dual-energy source pure electric vehicle. Embedding the fuzzy controlstrategy of this paper in dual-energy source electric vehicle and simulating,the result provesthat the strategy in this paper can improve the energy utilization and the driving range.Regenerative braking principle and safe braking area are analyzed in this paper. On thepremise of ensuring the stability of the car in the process of braking, the regenerative brakingcontrol strategy is proposed. Compared with the old strategy in the single energy source andthe dual-energy source pure electric vehicle, the car using this paper’s strategy recoveries morebraking energy. So the regenerative braking strategy in this paper has a significant effect inincreasing the driving range of the pure electric vehicle.
