Cluster munitions are often used to hit the cluster goals and objectives such as tankformation in the distance or the airport runway on the ground. It can improve the effectiveutilization rate of warhead and damage effect significantly. Cluster munitions is a kind ofindispensable weapon for local war. The value of bullet overload on cluster munitionsdispersion is a very important parameter for the whole process. It determines whether thebullet is damaged or not after scatters and it can provide reference for the spreading effect ofwarhead. In this paper, we research the bullet overload of cluster munitions dispersion withexplosive of center tube cracking.First of all, the paper calculates the theoretical value of the bullet overload on shrapnelscatters. Through the analysis of the cluster munitions dispersion process, it raises the basicassumptions and establishes the mathematical model of munitions dispersion process. Byestablishing a system of equations gunpowder combustion equation, the bullet motionequation, the energy conservation equation, the relative flow equations and the formula ofvolume, acceleration and velocity establish systems, it can solve the numerical value of bulletoverload. Secondly, on the basis of special test environment of scatters process and themethod of combining the dynamic test theory with the new concept of dynamic test, theoverall testing system is designed. The testing system mainly is divided into four parts: Sensorpart, circuit part, buffer and surface protection part, interface and software part. Circuit part iscomposed of four modules: analog circuit module, digital storage module, control module,power supply module. In this paper, the various parts, the each module design and the typeselection are described in detail. Finally, this paper researches the signal processing method ofbullet overload which is measured by shrapnel scatters mainly from three aspects: eliminate the zero drift which may be appeared in the test data, filter out other components other thanthe rigid motion acceleration and get the bullet velocity curve through doing the integral byrigid body acceleration. And the typical measured curve is analyzed, and its correctness isverified. In this paper, the research on the bullets overload value of shrapnel warhead providesa good basis for development and improvement of cluster warhead. The content of the paperhas great reference value and application value to improve the operational effectiveness ofcluster munitions.
