With the more requirements for transient pressure test in explosive field, the amount ofmeasurement equipment is increasing, which put higher demands for centralized management, control and process monitoring. The wireless distributed measurement system can manageand control all the measurement equipment located in different places through the LAN, and itrealizes the decentralized operation, working together, and centralized control. So the study ofwireless distributed measurement system is an important research in the field of distributedtest. This paper presented a wireless distributed measurement system based on the theory. Thecontrol center controls and monitors all the test nodes through WLAN, which includesconfiguring each test node parameters in preparation phase, monitoring the state of test nodebefore exploding, resetting the test node, and gathering the test data through wireless transferafter the explosion, etc. There are a larger number of test data to be gathered after explosion. So in order to improve transmission efficiency, extraction the valid data of test nodes andoptimization of WLAN performance are applied. The WLAN of the distributed measurement system may cannot work under the interference ofhigh temperature, high pressure and strong electromagnetic in explosion field test. Therefore, the test data needs to be transferred after the explosion. This burst data transmission increasesthe burden of WLAN communication. To solve this problem, two ways are proposed, one wayis through test node, another one is through the WLAN. First, the valid data of extraction isapplied to reduce the transmitting data of each node, so as to improve the efficiency oftransmission. This paper focuses on the hardware design of test node and extractiontechnology. Second, to improve the WLAN throughput, the WLAN design process isestablished. Through analyzing needs, planning the coverage, planning the capacity andprojecting the frequency, the WLAN is designed for distributed testing in explosion field. At last, the system function is tested in lab, and the wireless performance is tested under fieldconditions. Through explosion field test, the results show that the system has good reliabilityand stability.
