Based On The Old Users Lifestyle Study Of Emotional Design Exploration

With China’s aging process is developing rapidly, at present and in the future for a long time, our country endowment patterns still is given priority to with family pension, social endowment to the state of development of auxiliary. Due to plenty of time in the elderly life, In preparing meals, eating meals every day to spend a lot of energy and time."Eating" become not only the elderly must be inevitable behavior to sustain life, but also guarantee and display an important symbol of the elderly live. The kitchen appliances is closely related with the life of the elderly. It can be called is the most close family endowment in contact with the old one of the tools.The purpose of this paper is to through the life of the elderly users form research, emotional design of the old kitchen appliances to explore. This topic research include theory and practice two parts. Theoretical part is mainly on the research of the elderly life form, its research is covered three parts, the first part for the modern family structure, the elderly living mode analysis; The second part for physiological and psychological changes in older population living pattern analysis; The third part is based on the previous analysis, summarizes the elderly life demand. Elderly life demand as the basis of emotional design, provides the design direction. Is based on the theory of practice to explore, in northern China the old kitchen appliances design research as an example, the emotional design of kitchen appliances in the elderly. Practice is included three parts, the first part for northern China detailed investigation: the elderly family structure research (an independent life, and children live together, pension institutions), life background research (health, physiological and psychological characteristics), eating habits study (Eating preferences, Cooking type, Cooking methods), use of kitchen appliances, research (List of commonly used kitchen appliances; usage (Ease of use, whether to conform to the old habits); the second part aimed at older users research, found that the potential demand and design positioning; the third part design positioning for design of kitchen appliances, to practice and test of theoretical part, put forward the old kitchen home appliance design principles and requirements, design to meet the demand of the elderly diet kitchen tools.
