In the recent years, the number of water diversion project of our country is gradually increasing; the situation of uneven distribution of water resources has been effectively improved. But the degree of automation and the diversion efficiency of water diversion project are not very good. With the progress of science and technology, it put forward higher requirements to automatic control of the water transfer system. This project designed a dynamic diversion experimental simulation system based on remote metering gates, presents a versatile, universal dynamic diversion control algorithm, it is important for the study of efficient automation control, Safe and stable operation of water Diversion Project.Completed the design and construction of an experimental model of water diversion project, include reservoirs, power pools, stilling basin, channels, back sink and so on. Depending on the canals flow and the security, accurate and economical of measurement completed the selection of pumps and flow meters. Diversion experimental model system not only provides proven model for the experimental study of control theory, but also provide an experimental platform for the study of future water transfer systems.Researched and improved the existing remote metering gate and circular flat gate, designed a small gate as the terminal equipment of the water transfer system.
