| The aging population in our country has made a profound impact to aspects of our society. Among them, it brings the city living environment to adapt the aging of the contradictions have become increasingly prominent, has become highly concerned about social problems, it has also brought new challenges to the construction of urban residential area. For the elderly, in addition to the daily living environment, also need to be essential for outdoor activities, these activities are in the outdoor space in living in the neighborhood, the environment design directly affects the elderly outdoor activities. So, the residential outdoor space has to strengthen the suitability of the elderly, to create safe and comfortable outdoor environment for them.This paper analyzes the domestic ageing first, refer to the elderly community outdoor situation at home and abroad, then summarizes and comb the related data, analyzed the most physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly themselves, puts forward some characteristics of the outdoor space environment suitable for the old people’s outdoor activities. Through the foreign outstanding cases and the means of the field survey, to summed up the outstanding case design and the revelations to design. Based on the existing outdoor environment of residential area of research, summarized some problems design for the elderly outdoor activity. Later, author puts forward the habitable of all ages that occupy the home endowment patterns in the planning of ordinary community on the basis of the demand in the elderly. According to the different activity types of elderly space design summarizes the specific design methods and countermeasures.Finally, taking the actual project "Zhangjiajie Xiaoxiang Huafu landscape design" as an example, analyzes the design of outdoor activities space environment, make the application of research results to the practice, to further deepen the living space for the elderly activity design understanding. |
