Research On Passenger Transfer In Guangzhou North Comprehensive Passenger Transportation Hub

With the rapid development of national economy, the comprehensive transportation system in our country maintains a rapid development momentum. So there experiences a large-scale reconstruction and extension of passenger railway stations. As an important comprehensive transportation hub city in our country, Guangzhou plans to establish a comprehensive transportation hub which possesses unobstructed transportation, reasonable layout, perfect function and high efficiency cohesion and creating a modern comprehensive transportation system. As an important integrated transport hub in northern Guangzhou, Guangzhou North Railway Station’s traffic link and transfer problem becomes more and more outstanding, which greatly restricts the development of the whole transportation network system in Guangzhou city. Therefore, how to carry on the transfer link research from the macroscopic thinking and the system angle, realizing the convenient transfer on each transportation way convenient, becomes a worth discussing question.Based on the reference of the passenger railway station development model and experience, this paper contains a study on the railway station’s concept, the system characteristics, the characteristics of transfer system, connection mode, space layout form, the external connection mode and related theory study. This paper also analysis the station’s present situation, traffic convergence and the relationship between other major transport hub of Guangzhou, analyze the main problems that the station faced. Then forecast traffic demand of Guangzhou North Railway Station by historical data. Combined with the development of urban area and traffic development, the transfer plan of Guangzhou North Railway Station has been put forward, which mainly including the following points:first, the passenger station layout and facilities layout optimization scheme; second, measurement of the scale of transfer facilities, ensuring the project’s scientific and reasonable; third, the coordination research of surrounding traffic organization system; fourth, external traffic connection scheme, includes the link with other major Guangzhou railway passenger hub and Baiyun Airport through a variety of ways to enhance; fifth, relevant policy measures, including the research from the government management policy and investment and financing point in order to provide guarantee for the transfer of Guangzhou North Railway Station planning construction. Through the study of Guangzhou north railway station transfer convergence analysis, we hope to build the base in the Pearl River Delta, the national service, facing the world modernization, the integration of southern Chinese integrated transport hub provides some guidance and help.
