Because of Asphalt pavement construction process is simple, easy maintenanceand repair, driving comfort and good, open the transportation need a short time, etc.are widely used in highway construction. In recent years, with the rapid developmentof China’s national economy, people’s lives have been generally improved, peopletravel in comfort and safety requirements are also increasing. Asphalt pavement is themain part of highway construction, highway construction in more than90%areasphalt, so asphalt pavement disease problems become the focus of attention.Southern summer temperatures is so high, up to40℃, pavement temperature canreach60~70℃, the asphalt temperature is so high that pavement soft, decreasedadhesion.and pavement rutting, pro package and other diseases. Northeast wintertemperature is too low, the minimum temperature can reach-30℃, pavementtemperature can reach-40℃~-50℃, the temperature is too low, the performanceof the brittle asphalt, the northeastern region each year due to spring frost andfreeze-thaw damage pavement up70%or so.Paper through extensive investigation,for asphalt pavement rutting summer, propack and winter low temperature cracking of a series of diseases problem, put forwardsilane silica modified the asphalt surface for improve high temperature stability, waterstability and the low temperature crack resistance.For silane silica applications, because of its small size, good dispersion andhydrophobic, etc., in recent years, is widely used in rubber, plastics industry, andbecause of its colorless, non-toxic, has also been used in paints, cosmetics, dailynecessities and other industries in. Thesis according to the reading of vast amount ofliterature, understand the advantages and disadvantages of silane silica, which isadded to its modified asphalt, understand its impact on the road with asphalt. First, ahigh-speed shear apparatus for adding different content of bitumen penetration, softening point, viscosity and other properties of a test to determine the optimaldosage of silane silica in the asphalt. Secondly, through the asphalt performance testto test out the best silane silica content, its aging and chemical verification, mainlythrough the asphalt aging, boiled test and Tg analysis of test to determine the silanesilica modified asphalt adhesion resistance, aging resistance and chemical propertiesof superiority, For silane silica modified asphalt on the road with the performance ofresearch lay the foundation.
