A poor condition of flexibility, environmental adaptability and disability of movement hadbeen found in this article by research and analysis of the existing material conveyor. Combiningthe theoretical research and simulation test, the design of self-propelled straw belt conveyor hadbeen studied based on the loader and conveyor, which would increase the convenience of balingor shattering of unpacked crop straws and meet the need of the practical working conditions.A simplified mechanical model of crop straws processing had been set up by theassumptions of conveying crop straws system, combining the statistical collections of naturaland material characteristics together with processing methods, the blue print of self-propelledstraw belt conveyor had been determined. A sketch of the mechanism of the hydraulic liftingsystem had been accomplished by adjusting the working environment of self-propelled strawbelt conveyor and hydraulic lifting system. Within the help of Solidworks3D software,modeling of assembly as well as interference checking of the key components and wholemachine had been done. Simulation experiment of the virtual prototype on the fixed factors hadbeen carried out on the condition of Solidworks three-dimensional modelling and ADAMSdynamics analysis software.Satisfying model of flat belts and V belts on conveying system and transmission systemhad finally determined by simulative calculations,3layers of nylon canvas core conveyor beltwith1m bandwidth on straw conveying system, two V belt with the model of B-2500gb/T11544-2500V on and3550mm flat belt on straw transmission system, together with the125mm width plain plastic canvas belt were convinced to be an appropriate choice. A brilliantdesign of inverted triangle anti-skid device on the surface of the conveyor belt was made byadjusting the conveyor roller and tensioning device considering conveying mechanism and cropstraw bale (package) weight, which had increased the friction coefficient and solved theproblem on friction feed only.The interference check of Solidworks3D software had verified the rationality of designand assembly; And the experiment simulation by ADAMS virtual prototyping technology hadexhibited that when the conveyor angled at40°to60°, the speed of conveyor belt has basicallyno effect on the material delivery which can perfectly meet the needs of the actual production.And when the transmission angled at70°, speed domination of the transmission system wasquiet needed in actual work.The design of self-propelled straw conveyor in this article had revealed its rationality andpracticability by applying Solidworks3D and ADAMS dynamics analysis software on simulating experiment under the practical conveying condition with Virtual prototypingtechnology.
