Construction And Practice Of Resort Hotel Poetic Mood In Jiangnan Area

This paper takes the poetic and painting conception creation of traditional landscaping inthe South of the Yangtze River as the research object, to analyze and summarize the types,methods and living examples of conception creation. Besides, it takes the design of resorthotels in the South of the Yangtze River for example to interpret the subjective pursuit ofpoetic and painting conception in the creation of the architecture types in the ascendant, andsummarize, analyze and study the theme determination, conception type expression andcreation method analysis of typical cases in landscape design. Moreover, by taking the designof Shanghai Dongping Caotang Resort Hotel with the author’s personal involvement forexample, the paper systemically illustrates how to interpret the inheritance and creation ofpoetic and painting conception–the theme with deep cultural tradition of regional architecturein the South of the Yangtze River in the design of this resort hotel from aspects of thedetermination of theme, the consideration of site selection and layout, and the expression oftheme in architecture and landscape design. Additionally, the paper points out that as animportant characteristic of architecture culture in the South of the Yangtze River, poetic andpainting conception has been infiltrated into all aspects of architecture design in this area. Thedifferent types of the poetic and painting conception in resort hotel design are expressed indifferent ways in hotel design.The paper consists of five chapters, including four major parts:Chapter1gives an introduction to the research background, the current status of subjectresearch, and research significance of the paper to present research content and proposeresearch framework.Chapter2teases out and summarizes the formation background and development ofpoetic and painting conception in the historical line of gardens in the South of the YangtzeRiver, and analyzes the types and expression ways of poetic and painting conception ingardens in the South of the Yangtze River.According to the field investigation and data organization of resort hotels in the South ofthe Yangtze River, Chapter3discusses its development status and characteristics. By selectingtypical cases, it analyzes the expression characteristics of poetic and painting conception with features of regional architecture in the South of the Yangtze River in site selection, layout,architecture design and landscape design of resorts hotels in the South of the Yangtze River.Chapter4takes the design of Shanghai Dongping Caotang Resort Hotel for example toexplore the inheritance and creation of poetic and painting conception of gardens in the Southof the Yangtze River in the design of resort hotels in the South of the Yangtze River fromaspects of the theme determination, site selection, layout, and the expression of theme inlandscape design.Chapter5makes a conclusion for the whole paper and points out that poetic and paintingconception is an important part in the cultural tradition of regional architecture in the South ofthe Yangtze River and as well the central theme in traditional landscaping in the South of theYangtze River. In the design of resort hotels in this area, regional architecture not onlyenriches the architectural design language of resort hotels, but also provides rich nutriment forarchitecture creation.
