The Study On The Planning And Design Of The Yellow River Ecological Park In Yinchuan Riverfront District

Ecological landscape design is a kind of special landscape form, it’s not only to highlightthe beauty of nature, but by the ecological theme, mainly to have the function of leisure andentertainment, ecological tourism, green consumption and so on. Ecological landscape designaims at natural affinity and the protection of nature, but it must follow the principle ofsustainable development. At the same time of enjoying the nature, we should contribute tothe protection of nature, this is the most essential characteristics of the ecological landscapedesign.Yinchuan Riverfront District is located in the east coast of the Yellow River, and it islocated at the west edge of Maowusu Desert hinterland, there, the sand dune is rolling, thewind erosion and desertification is serious, the ecological environment is fragile. Because ofthe restriction of the ecological environment situation and land desertification, if we betterthe construction of riverfront district, it is necessary for us to make the construction of theecological protection and the development and the construction in the new district at the sametime. So, how to effectively control the desertification phenomenon at the edge of the YellowRiver land? How to prevent or weaken the harm to the new district and the Yellow River sand?How to unite the construction of the new district from the local conditions to the economicbenefit, social benefit and the environmental benefit? Facing with these difficult and realisticproblems, the effective ways to solving the problems are paid much attention by us, naturally,the ecological landscape planning and design has become a social hot spot. By scientificlayout, combined with the local natural landscape, the Yellow River ecological park inYinchuan Binhe District would be a diversified park with multi-function and multi treespecies. According to the spencial potential of the ecological landscape characteristics on theeast coast of the Yellow River New District, coupled with the rich tourist resources andspecial cultural connotation in the project district area, we would provide basis for ecologicallandscape planning and design, build it into an oasis in the desert hinterland of the east coastof the Yellow River, the local ecological environment would be improved and restored, wewould enhance the cultural taste and grade of the special region, promote the protection and inheritance and the regional economic development and sustainable development.The study on the planning and design of the Yellow River ecological park in YinchuanRiverfront District has mainly adopted the literature method, on-the-spot survey method,comparative analysis method and case analysis. By looking up a large number of ecologicallandscape design data, combining with the regional conditions of riverfront district, analyzingand design of ecological park cases at home and abroad, drawing the design concept andessence, we do some research on the planning and design of the Yellow River ecological parkin Yinchuan Riverfront District, and draw the following conclusions:First, the ecological park is existing as a special form of the landscape, there is necessityfor the development of objective; second, nature is the inevitable basis for the ecological parkdevelopment.This paper firstly aims to analyze the origin, definition and development of theecological landscape design, it analyzes the ecological crisis in the Yellow River basin ofNingxia area, it has proposed the constructing project for the Yellow River ecological park ofthe riverfront district, putting forward more thinking for ecological environment protectingmeasures in the Yellow River basin area.
