Research On Construction Quality Management Of Exterior Wall External Insulation In Civil Buildings

In China, the developing direction of civil buildings with energy saving reflects the strategic of carrying out Scientific Outlook on Development and achieving sustainable development in the construction industry. Currently, our country pays great attention to the energy-saving issues in civil buildings, introduced a series of policies concerned and invested a considerable amount of resources, such as labors, funds and materials. Ultimately, the energy conservation of civil buildings has been developing rapidly.Since the technology of exterior wall external insulation becomes mature, on the basis of analyzing eight types of exterior wall external insulation system commonly used in current market, this paper put forward the corresponding management system and problem-oriented countermeasures, combining with some problems of exterior wall external insulation appeared in local market.The construction quality issue on exterior wall external insulation of civil buildings is a problem urgently needed to be solved. Since the variety, performance and quality of market external insulation materials in the market are uneven, the system performance and overall quality of exterior wall external insulation are affected in some degree. This paper took the typical insulation technology for example and discussed the impacts from performance of system and component materials on the quality of insulation projects. Then this paper analyzed quality issues easily occurred during the construction process and developed the following appropriate countermeasures. Firstly, people should choose qualified engineering materials for insulation projects and ensure the matching and compatibility of different kinds of materials. Before materials approach, documents for proving, product certification and product performance test reports should be checked to see whether the concerned performances meet the design requirements. The validity should be verified, including the legitimacy of inspection bodies and timeliness of inspection reports. Secondly, people must prepare adequately before construction work, including base wall treatment, the formation of special construction scheme etc.Thirdly, the gridding cloth should be pressed in the surface layer, the aggregate thickness of anti-crack mortar on the surface constructed in twice should be controlled in3mm-6mm and the gridding cloth should be covered completely by the mortar. Fourthly, adhesive bonding method should be used on the polystyrene board, which could avoid the occurrence of wall hollowing, the warping deformation of polystyrene board and prevent the occurrence of water seepage, ventilation and even drop due to lax edge sealing. The quality problems in the construction of external insulation works can be prevented and solved from three aspects, such as the relationship between the construction organization and construction quality, the quality inspection and the supervision and management of construction, the quality protecting of finished outer insulation works. During construction process of exterior wall external insulation, people should strictly carry out all kinds of technical management regulations, personal responsibility at all levels and strictly construct according to qualified construction drawings, technical specifications, procedures and process standards and implement "three level" technical disclosure system to strengthen supervision and inspection of detail nodes and implement protective measures toward finished product quality. This paper took exterior wall external insulation construction of "Bin He Xin Cheng" community as an example, specifically analyzed the quality control nodes in the construction process of exterior wall external insulation in order to make the energy-saving a reality and achieve energy saving standards of buildings.On the base of actual construction organization, construction technical experience and analysis of project case, this paper established a practicable management method and targeted measures which are suitable for the development of exterior wall external insulation market in local by using basic theories of quality management rationally. It aims to continuously improve the quality management level in the construction process of exterior wall external insulation in civil buildings to make buildings achieve the desired effect of energy saving and contribute to the nation’s energy conservation and emission reduction.
