At present, developing wind power, improving the structure of the traditional energy, realizing the diversification of energy and alleviating the dependence on fossil energy limited are the important measures for China’s energy development strategy and also the important measures to adjust the power structure. Yantai region is rich in wind resources and wind power has developed rapidly. By June30,2014, Yantai grid has28wind farms includngin1018turbines with1489.5MW. At present, additional26wind power plants have been approved for integrating into Yantai grid. The large-scale wind generation will cause huge impact on the power grid and the grid scheduling.This paper deeply studies the large-scale wind power impact on power grid and the corresponding effects on the power grid scheduling and analyzes the influence of large-scale wind power access to power grid stability. The paper introduces the technology of low voltage ride-through of the wind generator and Yantai grid ability of low voltage ride-through and analyzes the influence of large-scale wind power access to power quality. This paper presents the Yantai region for wind power grid dispatching of power quality management. Combining the reality of Yantai power grid dispatching work, this paper focus on Yantai grid risk management processes of wind power dispatching system.
