With the growing social demand for energy, infrastructure, electric power, coal, cement and other industries in a large coal storage, storage facilities have witnessedgreat developments and applications. Large-span cylindrical shell structure act as a formof spatial grid structures, due to its good mechanical properties, economical inappearance, and can meet the demands of large-span structures, has become a large coalstorage, the main type of storage structure. This case study of a large span cylindrical reticulated shell structure, systematicelaboration of the conceptual design of large-span cylindrical shell structure of steps anddiscusses technical and economic indicators of various parameters on the structure andultimately determine the appropriate structure and basic parameters of the project. On the basis of programme design, this article imposed load combinations forstructural characteristics for structural design, analyzes the structure under static anddynamic response, verifying the reasonableness of design and design wind load valueproblems at one point.Design wind loads for structural problems, this article focuses on using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation, numerical wind tunnel simulation of thestructure using Fluent software, illustrates the basic steps of numerical simulation andsoftware simulation process parameter value. Final analysis of wind pressuredistribution and concluded that wind load shape coefficient. By comparison with windtunnel test results of similar projects in order to verify the accuracy of the numericalsimulation, discusses the standards of reference and numerical simulation method ofattention problems..
